This style of ornaments was produced around 1900 in Germany. The legso this deer are so skinny you think they might break just by looking at them and still the ornament survived to this day.

it has been sitting there in the(dry)  basement for who knows how long.

As this is not a 1980 style print. It is kinda said that the real age is not know.

It is however in perfect condition and not degraded so the ideal wrapping to give you gifts a real nostalgic feel

Engel und Bergmann is a theme that comes back very often in old and Antique christmas decorations. As many of the good old decorations come from the south of Germany near the “Ertzgebirge” where all local men just to work in the mines (gold and specially silver but also gemstones). As many accidents happened in these mines people asked the angels to guide the men back home and after some time the “mineworker and the angel” became unseperateable.
