Horse out of Greek mythology, pegasus, the Winged horse, as a result of the love between Gorgo Medusa and the seagod Poseidon. He came to live uit of Medusa’s blood as Perseus killed her.

Bellerophon captures the horse and tamed it so that he could use it in his battle against Chimaera and the Amazones. Bellerophon tried to fly on pegasus to Olympus, but the gods stopped this. They sent a fly to sting Pegasus under his tail, the horse threw of Bellorophon and he died.

Pegasus continued his journey to Olympus and became the carrier of ligthning for Zeus.
