In the past having animals in the Circus was a way to attract people to the performances. Now many nature activists claim there should be no animals in travelling cages like that. to me this is a little double, many of these traveling circusses love their animals, the same as we love our pets. Some are barbarians but some also treat their pets as barbarians. It is a difficult issue. One thing I can tell I do love to see the animals preform in a circus, and i do hope the animals are happy doing so. Maybe one day we can communicate with them and ask.
