When I look at this ornament I immediately think of an old dutch painting. The local river is closed and the whole village is having fun on the ice. Old and young gather to celebrate winter and meet up with neighbours and family.
I just want to jump inside such a painting and skate along with all this lovely people. Feel the cold on my nose and hands and get warm from the christmas time excitement.
