Some 40 years ago they were hard to get, and if by change people owned these nesting dolls her in Belgium. They would put them on display al year round just to show off that they had travelled. When the iron curtain fell you suddenly saw them every where and that is when i got my set, Santa brought it to me after all the years i had asked for them. I was so proud, i could play with them all they long, off cours my mother did not see them as toys but as display items.
would your childeren play with nesting dolls ? or do their toys really have to make noise and interact ?
