Saint-Nicolas visits the children in the Low Countries on 5 and 6 December.

Some say that the Dutch emigrants in the US  celebrated Saint-Nicolas and the German Emigrants celebrated der Weihnachtsmann and then the English speaking people messed it all up and Saint-Nick or  Santa Claus got this name but this Turkish fellow was the base of the name.  We will probably never know the real story but it sound plausible to me.  What do you think ??
