What a proud people we Belgians are, The boy doing pipi is our national pride. According to the legend a rich business man went to Brussels with his son. Somehow he lost the little boy in the crowds. He was very upset and started looking for him. After some time he found the boy on d street corner doing pipi. The father was so happy to have found the boy that he gave a statue to the city of Brussels to be put on the spot where he found is son. (the first statue was ceramic from 1388 – the bronze version dates from 1619).
